MCPA Forges Partnership to Promote Faith & Blue Weekend 

Whether you're a police chief in Montevideo, Moorhead or Mankato, it doesn't hurt these days to reinforce connections with your communities. One of the most effective avenues to build, maintain and improve relationships with various groups is through faith-based organizations.

That's why the MCPA Board of Directors recently approved a promotional partnership with Movement Forward, Inc.a modern, inclusive social change organization working to protect, promote, and advance the civil and human rights of all people. Movement Forward is also the organization behind this year’s National Faith & Blue Weekend (Faith & Blue), which will be held Oct. 8-11.

Faith & Blue is a U.S.-wide initiative that strengthens communities by fostering relationships between houses of worship and law enforcement entities. To learn more about Faith & Blue, visit www.faithandblue.org.
